I managed to read a book called 'A Little Princess'. It is a 1905 children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I know...I know...You all think that I read teenagers and adults fiction. Well, I do read children's novel. In fact, I enjoy them. This is a last minute reading in the school's library. Here's the image of a book cover of 'A Little Princess'.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 231px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/Sfl8VS50oYI/AAAAAAAAAEk/bTGDT7Q5zU0/s320/01.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330428339263152514" />

Summary

Seven-year-old Sara Crewe is sent to live at Miss Minchin's boarding school in London. Her father, Captain Crewe, is a doting young man who leaves instructions that his daughter is to be given a private room with a parlour, a maid, and anything else she might desire in his absence. The school's headmistress, Miss Minchin, privately believes that Sara is intolerably spoiled due to her father's indulgence, but Minchin is impressed by Captain Crewe's fortune and quickly turns the well-dressed, well-mannered Sara into a show pupil.

Far from being spoiled, Sara is a bright, imaginative, and empathetic child who loves books and storytelling. In short order she befriends even the most outcast of her fellow pupils, including the scullery maid Becky. Miss Minchin does not approve of such friendships, but she is willing to tolerate them for fear that Sara will complain to her father. A few of the older students are openly jealous of Sara's fortune and give her the mocking nickname of "Princess Sara" in reference to her wealth and perfect manners. The nickname first embarrasses Sara, but soon she adopts it as a reminder to be generous to others.

On Sara's eleventh birthday, news arrives that Captain Crewe has died in India, having lost all his fortune due to investments made by a friend. Sara is left a pauper, her school bills unpaid, and Miss Minchin, now saddled with a student she has never liked, turns Sara into a servant in order to pay off her debts. Sara is given a room in the attic next to Becky, the scullery maid she befriended.

For the next three years, Sara is overworked and half-starved. In her loneliness, she uses her imagination to comfort herself, turning her attic room into the Bastille and Becky into a fellow prisoner. Sara does her best to keep up with her studies and to remember her good breeding and manners, even though this makes her unpopular with her fellow servants and with Miss Minchin, who believes that Sara has not yet realised her new station. Sara tries harder than ever to pretend she is a princess in order to keep herself from despair, but discovers that even her imagination is not enough to pretend away cold and hunger.

A second section of the story develops when Sara sees a new family moving into the house across the street. Having been born in India, she recognises many of the furnishings as Indian and the master's servant as an Indian lascar. Upon learning that the master of the house is ill with the same "brain-fever" that killed her own father, Sara begins to pity him and weaves him into her fantasies, referring to him in her mind as "the Indian gentleman." The Indian lascar takes up residence in the attic across from Sara's own, and she is able to speak to him in his native Hindustani. Intrigued, the lascar, with the help of his master's solicitor, slips into Sara's attic while she is asleep and leave her gifts of warm bedding, food, and books. Sara awakens the next morning thinking that "the Magic" of her fantasies has somehow been made real.

Every day, the comforts in the attic are added to, and Sara shares them with Becky. Finally a delivery of new clothes comes for Sara, and Miss Minchin, worried that someone has revived an interest in Sara's case, allows her to attend school with the other students. When Sara returns to her attic, she finds that the lascar's pet monkey has escaped and taken refuge in her room. The following morning, she crosses the street to return the monkey and to at last meet "the Indian gentleman", whose real name is Carrisford.

Carrisford enquires as to Sara's name and circumstances, only to realise that Sara is the formerly missing child of Captain Crewe. Carrisford, it is revealed, was the friend who lost Captain Crewe's fortune, only to have it revived after Crewe's death. Knowing that Crewe had a child, Carrisford has spent the last three years searching boarding schools across the Continent for Sara.

Miss Minchin, upon learning that Sara's fortune has been returned to her, attempts to convince Sara into returning to her school. But Sara has already told her new guardian about Miss Minchin's avarice and cruel treatment. Sara sends for Becky to come and live with her as her own maid, and Miss Minchin is humiliated.

Extracted from 'Wikipedia:The World's Encyclopaedia'.

Sorry because I do not have enough time to write a summary because I am very busy with exams in school.

Review

The writing is charming and Sara comes through as a person who is determined to maintain her values, through good times and bad. She has a definite personality and that is a good role model for any child. She stays true to her beliefs in being kind, mannerly, charitable and above all, herself.

The magic in this book is unsurpassed in children's literature. When Sara comes home, wet and cold and neglected, to find that a magician has transformed her world, you can't help but be enchanted.

This book's moral states that everyone can be a princess when they put their minds to it. Being a princess is not about the fame and fortune, but about how you act in the situation into which you have been placed. You can be kind, or you can be mean; you can be content, or you can be greedy; you can be upset, or you can be optimistic. The book really relates to people who are going thruogh tough times in their lives and need reasurance and confidence. I will admit to reading it again now. The charm is still there.

By the way, this brilliant novel has been adapted to film, television and musical as well. I watched the 1995 version and it was fantastic. The film was directed by Alfonso Cuarón. The fim also won many awards.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 213px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/Sfl-iSAeDSI/AAAAAAAAAEs/OIEwyOdiZsc/s320/07.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330430761384152354" />

Sorry....

I did not read any books.... It was not my neighbour who played fire works. It was a house down the road. It was so annoying!! I was studying history from chapter 1 to 10 because I'm having History Excel Paper 2. A very difficult paper indeed. I really can't stand it anymore. So I took the action of calling the police. Here was the conversation. It was smooth.

(In Malay language)
Police : Hello, here is Sandakan's police station. What can I do for you?
Me : Hello. I would like to lodge a complaint on fire works in my
neighbourhood.
Police : Oh, did you say fire works? Miss, can you give me your address?
Me : Sure. (I told him my address).
Police : Thank you, miss. I will send a police patrol to your neighbourhood in a
few minutes. Thank you for calling.
Me : Thank you.

And guess what? A few minutes later, a police car came because I saw the police car from my house. Unfortunately, the guy was not putting anymore fire works!! The police officers came at the wrong time. Ughhh!!!! The guy was standing by the roadside and noticed that there was a police car passing by. Luckily, after that no more fire works:)

Neighbour Issue

Mostly, neighbours are always mentioned very nice in books, etc. But in my case, it isn't. I SCORN my neighbour. Why do I hate them? They are noisy especially the kids. They are like screaming everyday. What is worse is that they scream and cry out loud at around 10 -11 pm. They're like 5-6 years old. Aren't they supposed to be sleeping at this hour?

Another thing is that they play those annoying fire crackers! Last Sunday, I was watching 'Defiance'(a war movie). And then suddenly, there was a loud BOOM outside my house. I thought that there was really a bomb dropping from the sky outside my house! Damn them, they were playing fire crackers. Ughhh!!! Yesterday, I was having physics tuition. The same thing happened. A lot of BOOM!!BANG!! heard from my tuition place. It was so f****** annoying. We were studying about waves with full attention. If they play fire works again tonight, I really am going to call the police.

Happy Birthday to Me!!!!

Today's my birthday and you know what that means...eating, presents!!!! This morning, Melissa, Chiew Yee and I went to learn to drive car somewhere in mile 6. Woah, it was TOUGH especially the parking part and driving the car up a steep road. Well, it was quite okay to us because we didn't bang onto anything!!! Thank goodness!!!! Here are the photos.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SX77oLOMFNI/AAAAAAAAAEM/NVQK8-yUP4E/s320/DSC00227.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295946879459923154" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SX778JBn4fI/AAAAAAAAAEU/CwWJfiu0FNo/s320/DSC00228.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295947222467731954" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SX78JGjq_EI/AAAAAAAAAEc/eMyG5vIfxvQ/s320/DSC00229.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295947445143534658" />

In the afternoon, my uncle and my aunt brought me to have lunch in Giant's Pizza Hut. It was indeed a sumptuos meal:) We ordered the new kind of pizza - the Golden Crown Pizza. There are little crowns around the pizza. The crowns are filled with mozella cheese. Each slice of pizzas consist of a tempura prawn. All in all, I think the pizza's okay, still acceptable. But I still like the pizza with finger like buns. Here is the picture.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 164px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SWnZYTJ_xoI/AAAAAAAAAEE/3FFqt1Hn1d4/s320/main_bannerjan09.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289998248805648002" />

Later in the evening, I had dinner in my favourite grandparents home. Again, it was a delicious meal. There are noodles, nuggets, fruit punch, sweet and sour pork and others. And there was ABALONE:) Simply delicious. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures. I just kept on eating. Ohh no, I'm getting fatter...Boo hoo...Time to go on diet, Candy...

Well, that was how I celebrated my 18th birthday.

Tough, tough, so though...

It has been a week since school reopened. And I hated it. I HAVE to wake up at five something in the morning to get prepared. I was sleeping so soundly and then my Mom opened my bedroom door and said, 'Time to get up!'. I tried to sleep in the 'bus sekolah' but it was moving here and there, bouncing here and there. We were like sardines in tin. Ohhh, I hated it so much:< As a result, I have terrible headache lately. During the school holidays, I slept until like 11++ in the morning. Well, I hardly had any breakfast during the holidays. What a boring day. All I did today were eating, sleeping, watched a couple of movies in channel 411 and 413, read some novels and surfing the web(right now). No New Year Eve buffet dinner for me...>.<...Horrible. Tomorrow's a brand new year - 2009. SPM YEAR!!! Ohh...I do hope I get good results so that I can go to a good university for further studies. My dream is to get... definitely 11A1s!!! WOW!!! Tough dream to be fulfilled... For my future's sake I must be more hardworking, less watching TV and less dreaming about delicious food and hunks, and be able to control myself to study. It's for my own good.

My target for Year 2009:
- Study more to get the best results(11A1s)
- Lose weight(I have to do it for my health)

My Name's Hidden Meaning

You Are Peaceful and Content

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.

You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.

Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.

You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.

At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You are very charming... dangerously so. You have the potential to break a lot of hearts.

You know how what you want, how to get it, and that you will get it.

You have the power to rule the world. Let's hope you're a benevolent dictator!

You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily.

You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind.

A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.

Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.

Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.

You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.

You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.

You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.

You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You are deeply philosophical and thoughtful. The novel was released in 1996 and was selling like hot cakes. The novel was named in 2007 as one of the ten most influential books of the past 25 years. The novel was even chosen as an Oprah Book Club selection in September 1996.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 210px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SU87T4agpNI/AAAAAAAAADM/jDAzMGOu4Zs/s320/JacquelynMitchard_TheDeepEndOfTheOcean.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282506100676011218" />

The plot starts with Wisconsin photographer and housewife Beth Cappadora leaves her youngest son, Ben, alone with his older brother for a brief moment in a crowded Chicago hotel lobby, while attending her high school reunion. The older son lets go of Ben's hand and Ben vanishes without a trace. Beth goes into an extended mental breakdown and it is left to her husband and owner of a restaurant, Pat, to force his wife to robotically care for their remaining two children, 7-year-old Vincent and an infant daughter Kerry.

Nine years pass, and the Cappadora family is still together and has moved to Chicago. On the outside, they seem to have gotten over their grief. Yet, one day a young boy named Sam asks Beth if she needs the lawn mowed.

Beth suspects that this boy who lives with his "father" two blocks away is in fact her lost son, and while Sam mows the lawn, she takes photographs of him to show to her husband and teenage son, who then says that he suspected Sam was Ben all along. The parents contact Detective Candy Bliss who pops in to offer wise, albeit often cryptic and conflicting, advice to Beth. It is learned that at the reunion in Chicago, the celebrity alumna Cecile Lockhart kidnapped Ben, renamed him Sam, and raised him as her own child until she was committed to a mental hospital (in the movie Cecile committed suicide) and left Sam to be raised by the sensitive and intellectual George Karras.

Ben was raised by a Greek-American father for nine years, while his biological parents are Italian-American. Ben is a polite and intellectual American boy who takes great pride in participating in Greek cultural rituals, much to the frustration of Pat who wants to pretend that Ben was never really abducted and thus can be the son that he wants him to be if only he uses enough discipline. Ben is faced with the ethnic identity that he grew up with, and the ethnic identity he would have known had he not been kidnapped.

Ben's adoptive father agrees to move away, not telling anyone where he is going. Torn between two worlds and having lost both of the parents that he knew, Ben expresses suicidal feelings to Beth.

Ben's only memory of his biological family is one of brother Vincent and thus over a one-on-one basketball game he absolves his brother of any responsibility for his abduction, and agrees to stop running away in order to build upon his memories with his older brother. Inside the house Pat and Beth see these events and reconcile.

At the end of the novel, many conflicts remain unresolved. Pat still has problems loving his sons; Ben because he can not relate to his personality and Vincent because he does not connect his teenager rebellion and cynicism to nine years of bad parenting. Beth has regained her position in the family as an equal parent, however Ben and Vincent's emotional scars may require years of intense therapy. The friendship that she made with Candy Bliss erodes to the point where the family seems to reject the friendship or support of any outsiders, be they friends, family, social workers, or police.

What a graet literature...
'The Deep End of the Ocean' is a wonderfully written story of ordinary people caught in a disaster. Get everything that you need to do done, because once you start reading this book, you won't put it down. Really!! It's so true!! This book shows dramatic emotions of a family after a loss of their three-year old child. Beth Cappadora is in a hotel lobby in Chicago one day with her two sons Vincent and Ben, when suddenly, a mother's worst fear, when her three-year old son disappears into a crowd of people, seemingly with a trace.

Jacquelyn Mitchard did an excellent job in describing what ONE MOTHER did, how she felt, and how all her world changed in 10 minutes.

This is one of those rare stories which I will never forget.

Great novel adapted into great film...
This novel was adapted into a film in 1999, which stars Michelle Pfeiffer as the the main protagonist Beth Cappadora, Treat Williams as Pat Cappadora, Whoopi Goldberg as Detective Candy Bliss, Ryan Merriman as Ben Cappadora in his first feature film role.

<img style="display:block; It was Charles Frazier's first novel and a major bestseller, selling roughly three million copies worldwide. The novel won the 1997 National Book Award. It also won the W.D. Weatherford Award that year.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 129px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/STDg8h6KHxI/AAAAAAAAABs/ahc4UEc8w0g/s200/387px-Cold_mountain_novel_cover.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5273962494149926674" />

It tells the story of W. P. Inman, a wounded deserter from the Confederate army near the end of the American Civil War who walks for months to return to Ada Monroe, the love of his life. The narrative alternates back and forth every chapter between the story of Inman and that of Ada Monroe, a minister's daughter recently relocated from Charleston to a farm in the rural mountain community called Cold Mountain from which Inman hails. Though they only knew each other for a brief time before Inman departed for the war, it is largely the hope of seeing Ada again that drives Inman to desert the army and make the dangerous journey back to Cold Mountain.

At Cold Mountain, Ada's father soon dies, and the farm that the genteel city-bred Ada lives on, named Black Cove, is soon reduced to a state of disrepair. A young woman named Ruby, homeless but a stronger worker than Ada and resourceful, soon moves in and, through hard labor, helps Ada clean the place up and return it to productivity as well as change as a person from being a learned girl, knowing nothing that could help her live, to a woman who can fend for herself.

Inman's journey is rough. It was his love to Ada that kept him alive to find his way home. He faces hunger, an attempted armed robbery at a rural tavern, and occasionally is given shelter by civilians who want nothing to do with the war. Through cunning ingenuity he helps one of them track and recover a hog, her only possession and source of food for the winter, which had just been seized from her by Union soldiers. He is also helped by a woman who owns goats, who gives him advice and medicines to finally heal his wounds.

In the end, he manages to find his way back to Black Cove which was empty and so he sets out to find Ada on the mountain and he unexpectedly encounters Ada in britches and shooting wild turkeys. However, both have changed so greatly in their appearance and demeanor since they parted that it is some moments before they recognize one another. They were really happy. As the party begins the trek back to the farm, they encounter the Home Guard. A shootout commences in which Inman kills or chases off all the members of the Guard except for a seventeen year old boy who flees into the thicket and is cornered against a rock ledge. Inman, reluctant to shoot him down in cold blood, tries to convince him to lay down his arms and leave, but is shot and fatally wounded by the boy when he approaches. He soon dies.

Ada eventually gives birth to three children and raise them at Black Cove, where she lives with Stobrod and the now married Ruby and Georgia boy and their children. She remembers Inman deep in her heart.

The reason that I like this book is...
I saw this wonderful debut novel by Charles Frazier on my grandparents' bedside table. They usually read books before going to bed. I guess I inherited their habits because I do that almost every time before I go to bed. When I have briefly finished the synopsis at the back of the cover, I decided to have a read. Within minutes, I was totally drawn into the interaction of the characters and at the same time my jaw was dropped open because the prose style was so wonderful. The story of the three characters (Ada, Ruby and Inman) is woven so skillfully that I found it almost impossible to put the book down. I also love American history because their histories were so interesting. It also gives its readers a fresh new way to look at the Civil War. Many of the scenes made me flinch, but it also deepened my understanding of this very important period in history. This is the best novel I have read in years.

Adapted into film...
This novel was also adapted into an award-winning film of the same name. It was directed by the late Anthony Minghella, and stars Jude Law as Inman, Nicole Kidman as Ada Monroe and Renée Zellweger as Ruby. The film received a nomination for Best Motion Picture Drama at the Golden Globes. Despite not being nominated for the Best Picture award, the film did pick up seven Oscar nominations, and one win for Renée Zellweger as Best Supporting Actress.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/STDtJLuoP-I/AAAAAAAAAB0/WTVXcC6FUlw/s320/18370169_w434_h_q80.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5273975905673822178" />
Ada Monroe and Inman portrayed by Nicole Kidman and Jude Law in the film' Cold Mountain'.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 360px; height: 241px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/STDvFEzGxhI/AAAAAAAAACE/syKRtE1C84k/s400/2003_cold_mountain_007.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5273978034117330450" />
Ruby portrayed by Renée Zellweger.

Half of the day at the driving course somewhere near the airport

Well, today is Sunday and I had to wake up around 6:15 in the morning. Yikes!!! This is first time in the history that I woke up this early. I usually wake up around 10 a.m. Freaking late, right? My room was still very cold. I had to force myself to wake up to join the driving course with my good mates - Ho Yan Yee, Evangeline and Melissa:) We had so much laugh and fun. And Evangeline is very proud of her driving text book.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SSAskXGEjjI/AAAAAAAAAA8/UuDPMhRv7KQ/s200/DSC00198.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269260567209872946" />

Nice book, mate!!!!

We had to waste nearly half of the day to listen to the instructors to talk about the driving rules, driving rules and driving rules. We stayed in the room from 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Fortunately, we had some breaks among those hours. The first instructor was kind of funny, he used toy cars to show us examples. Besides, he has a very shiny head:)

From 12:00 to 12:30 p.m., we had our lunch in the canteen. I spent RM 3.50 on some rice, two not-crunchy-at-all fried dumplings and some super spicy toufus. We had to eat because there were three more hours that we need to stay there. When we were eating our lunch, some nearby 'ma lai lou' were puffing all the way. Didn't they realise there was a non smoking sign there? They are as blind as a bat. Darn them!

After that, we went back to the rooms again to prepare for the second session. So boring!! This time, the instructor was a boring one. He didn't crack any hilarious jokes. He just keep on talking and talking. When the instructor was babbling, we were fooling around at the back. And I saw something that shines very MUCH under the light. I mean it. These are things we wrote during class.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SSAupEsKyRI/AAAAAAAAABE/7RR0CRVBUKg/s320/DSC00210.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269262847191992594" />

Around three p.m., we were finally released from 'jail', all four of us got our 'sijil kehadiran'. Hurray!!!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SSAyElaehLI/AAAAAAAAABM/MQxvM70vjr0/s200/DSC00212.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269266618367509682" />

My 'Sijil Kehadiran'

Besides, we also took some memorable pictures. Here is one of the lovely pictures.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SSAyo9-rPgI/AAAAAAAAABU/aV2z-qfLuoA/s200/DSC00202.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269267243437080066" />

We were so thrilled after releasing from 'jail'

All four of us had to squeeze into the back of the car. Thank goodness, it was not a 'Kancil' car. Or else....you all know!!! I took some pictures of Ho Yan Yee but she deleted them. But she did not delete one of it. Enjoy the pictures!!!!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SSA0ETYVxNI/AAAAAAAAABc/u6-_nsoNLNI/s200/DSC00204.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269268812549965010" />

I can't see your face!!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SSA0dlgcBOI/AAAAAAAAABk/GO1BGXwfS2Q/s200/DSC00205.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269269246912496866" />

I see you now!!!!

Well, that's all folks!!!

Sweet Classic Cartoons...

I was very bored and decided to watch some classic cartoons in YouTube. The classic cartoons sure bring back a lot of my childhood memories. Ahhh, the sweet old childhood memories... I sure miss them a lot. There was nothing to worry about when I was a kid. I can do whatever I want to like playing video games whenever I want, watching T.V. the whole day, playing with friends in nearby park... Well, here are some of the pictures of cartoons I watch when I was a kid.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 200px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SR1pgi3PEzI/AAAAAAAAAAk/rx63E8vTVik/s200/Paul_Bunyan-450x451.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268483146928558898" />

Disney's "Paul Bunyan" (1958)
This short film is about a retelling of the classic Canadian / American tall tale of the enormous lumberjack and his loyal companion, an equally huge blue ox. I also love the song "The Ballad of Paul Bunyan" performed by The Mellowmen. Lovely song.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 134px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SR1rKQL0gLI/AAAAAAAAAAs/5lA34tsSfSY/s200/trickortreat6.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268484962980757682" />

Disney's "Trick or Treat" (1952)
This is my all time favourite Halloween cartoon. Huey, Dewey and Louie visit Donald's house for Halloween but Donald turns the tricks on them. Seeing them rebuffed, Witch Hazel decides to help out with their revenge on Donald. I love the song "Trick or Treat" also performed by The Mellowmen. I just simply love the catchy, high spirited Halloween song.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SR1sI03BacI/AAAAAAAAAA0/4PtTdmCjhoI/s200/owl.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268486037977524674" />

Warner's "The Singing Kid" (1936)
A very jazzy song "I Love to Singa" performed by Owl Johlson who was born to sing jazz music. Unfortunately, his parents are into classical music even his siblings!! Eventually, he was kicked out of the family. While wandering around, he comes across a radio amateur contest, hosted by "Jack Bunny", wins the contest, but not before his father has finally seen his son's potential and allowed him to freely sing jazz.

Well, there are still more brilliant calssical cartoons to be introduced. Stay tune, folks!!!

Watched the 22nd movie of James Bond

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 198px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SRw5FjcFcyI/AAAAAAAAAAM/m6IiQSh7jss/s320/DanielCraigBIG1004_468x759.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268148431691805474" />
HEADS UP, PEOPLE!!! HERE COMES 007!!!

My favourite uncle and aunt brought me to watch Marc Foster's newest film "Quantum of Solace" last night. My uncle and I still like the old Bond films which has Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan in it. My favourite Bond is played by Sir Thomas Sean Connery. I think Sean Connery set and defined James Bond's character perfectly. He played it extraordinary with that role. He played it smart, sexy, bad and stylish.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_eB0bu4JzjEw/SR1kd9cI2YI/AAAAAAAAAAU/OQ7Z0YeerHw/s320/Sean_Connery_007.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5268477604964915586" />

"Quantum of Solace" is a sequel to "Casino Royale". If I did not watch "Casino Royale", I would be very blur throughout the movie. The theme song for this film is "Another Way to Die". It is sung by Jack White of the White Stripes and Alicia Keys. This is the first duet in Bond music history!! WOW!!! I think the song is nice and catchy.

Daniel Craig who plays James Bond in "Quantum of Solace" suffered a gash when kicked in his face that required eight stitches and a fingertip was sliced off. Oh my god, I would be screaming my heart out when my fingertip is sliced off!!! Well, who cares when you are about to receive £4.5M for that role!!! £4.5 Million is equal to approximately RM 31.5 Million!!!! That is a freaking big sum of money!!! If I have that huge sum of money, I would quit school to get out of stress and enjoy my life. I am sick of my school.

Well, tata for now....

My complete list of Grade 7 piano pieces

Finally, my piano teacher has given me all four pieces of the piano pieces. But my nose is very red. I look like Ruldolph the Red Nose Reindeer!!! Great news! I just received my Nintendo DS Lite from my Mum. She keeps my NDS temporarily and gives it back to me after school terms. Since the examination is over, she gives it back. Actually, this is my idea because once I play NDS, I'm hooked!!! I can play from morning till night!!! Well, that's all. Mum told me we are going for steamboat porridge tonight somewhwere in Batu 7. The steamboat there is simply delicious!!! I think it is better than the one in Bukit Bendera. I have no idea why is it that many people go there and have their steamboat. It's much more expensive and not delicious at all. Weird taste buds.....

First Time Blogging!!!

31 October 2008..........Halloween!!!!and........the first time I blog!!!!
